Leh Ladakh, Pangong Lake

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

  • Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport.
  • Transfer to your hotel for check-in.
  • Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude (essential due to Leh's elevation).
  • In the evening, explore Leh town, visit Leh Palace, and shop at the local markets.
  • Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, head out for local sightseeing.
  • Visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and Hemis Monastery.
  • Explore Stok Palace and Museum.
  • Return to Leh in the evening.
  • Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3: Leh - Nubra Valley via Khardung La

  • Depart for Nubra Valley via the famous Khardung La Pass (one of the highest motorable roads in the world).
  • Visit the Diskit Monastery and Hunder Sand Dunes.
  • Enjoy a camel safari in the sand dunes (optional).
  • Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra Valley - Turtuk Village

  • After breakfast, drive to Turtuk Village, a picturesque and culturally rich village near the Pakistan border.
  • Explore the village, interact with the locals, and enjoy the scenic beauty.
  • Return to Nubra Valley for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Nubra Valley - Leh

  • After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Khardung La Pass.
  • En route, visit the famous Magnetic Hill and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers.
  • Reach Leh by evening.
  • Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Leh - Pangong Lake

  • Depart for a full-day excursion to Pangong Lake, a breathtaking high-altitude lake.
  • En route, visit the picturesque Chang La Pass.
  • Spend time by the lake, enjoy the stunning views, and take memorable photographs.
  • Drive back to Leh in the evening.
  • Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7: Departure from Leh

  • Check-out from the hotel after breakfast.
  • Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or exploring Leh.
  • Transfer to the Leh Airport for your onward journey, bidding farewell to Ladakh.
